Character Profile: Reborn 家庭教師ヒットマン

http://solamonenergy-otakus.com/category/katekyo-hitman-reborn/

Reborn (りボーン) is considered to be the strongest hitman in the world but was trapped in the body of a 2-year old because of a curse. His current mission is to train the tenth successor of the Vongola Family, Tsunayoshi Sawada to become a suitable boss. In his adult form, he usually used to greet people with “Chaos” but when he turned into a kid, all his voice could muster is “Ciaossu” (a play on the Italian greeting of “Ciao” and the Japanese greeting of “Ossu”).

He sports a black fedora and an all-black suit both in his infant and adult form. Reborn is constantly shown with his shapeshifting pet chameleon named Leon, usually perched on the brim of his hat. He is usually shown wearing ridiculous costumes depending on the situation and is, apparently, a celebrity at Mafia Land.

During the Future Arc, Reborn was the first one to be transported ten years into the Future though it’s still unclear he got to the Vongola Headquarters. Due to the anti Tri-ni-set radiation in the atmosphere that severely affects the Arcobaleno, he has to wear a special suit.

Reborn is the strongest of the seven Arcobaleno (the seven strongest individuals in their time who was cursed and physically changed into babies), possessing the Sun Arcobaleno pacifier where their energy is stored (dying-will flames). During a flashback, Reborn was shown as having resentment towards the curse but following some time, he came to accept his fate and asked Dr. Shamal to remove his old self.

As an Arcobaleno, he is usually calm in any situation or fights, serving as Tsuna’s mentor when the latter runs out of ideas. However, he admitted to losing his patience when his friend, Vongola IX Timoteo, was kidnapped and almost got killed in a fight during the Varia Arc.

Reborn rarely engages in direct fighting, not wanting to meddle with the development of his student but sometimes he takes his mentoring role seriously. And whenever he did so, he could be an incredibly tough and effective “tutor” as shown when he trained Tsuna to use the Zero Point Breakthrough to defeat Xanxus and also when he trained Yamamoto in the Future arc. He was also credited in training the boss of the Cavallone family.

For the most part, Reborn only observes and keeps on the sidelines but whenever his student hits a wall (especially during a fight) he is there to talk some sense into him.

Solamon Energy Otakus

Hisoka (ヒソカ) is a character from the popular anime/manga series Hunter x Hunter by Yoshihiro Togashi. His generally dark character is depicted as a playful, narcissistic and deceitful magician. (Trivia: In the manga, his sentences would normally end with a suit symbol.) Hisoka became interested in the circumstances of the four main characters after meeting them on the Hunter Exam, though it might only be because he saw them as opponents with a lot of potential. Because of his veiled hostility and affinity for murder, he was quickly labeled as the series’ strong antagonist. However he can also be seen acting as a comrade to the main characters when he thinks it will benefit him.

Hisoka has appeared on the manga/anime early on — it was during the first part of the 287th Hunter Exam, where the four main characters (Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio) first met each other. He was introduced by a fellow examinee as a dangerous person for he has failed the previous Hunter Exam when he killed an examiner on a whim.

On the last part of the Hunter Exam, Hisoka apparently admitted that he is a member of the infamous group Genei Ryodan — the criminals responsible for annihilating Kurapika’s tribe. Though it was later revealed that he’s not a true member; he was just going along with the group because he’s waiting for an opportunity to challenge the group’s leader, Chrollo, into a duel whom he deems worthy to be an opponent. However, Kurapika managed to seal Chrollo’s nen power in an encounter, prompting Hisoka to lose his enthusiasm.

Hisoka appears to be on friendly terms with Illumi, the older brother of Killua, as they are often seen helping each other. The circumstances of how they came to be friends was left out though.

It is quite normal for him to look deadly one moment and then go all hilarious the next. A very unpredictable character, Hisoka has earned his dark reputation of being a killing machine who takes delight in battles and killing in general. True to the meaning of his name, his background still remains a mystery to everyone. His magic tricks coupled with violence terrify most minor characters.

He appears to live for the battlezone as the only thing that gives him pleasure is going into a fight, especially against equally skilled opponents. It was for this reason he spared Gon when they first crossed paths and encouraged him instead to be strong so that when the time comes, he will enjoy killing him. Hisoka is always confident no matter who he faces, as he believes he is the best fighter, and always challenges powerful characters.

His energy classification, or nen group, is enka (transformation). His usual weapon of choice is a deck of cards which he uses like a shuriken with deadly precision. The nen group he belongs to makes it possible for him to manipulate his other weapon, bungee gum, into any material texture he wants. He typically alters the gum’s consistency into a sticky substance to incapacitate his opponents. In one of his fights, he had even tricked everyone by masking his injuries through nen. This kind of battle skills that he has put him in advantageous positions on many occasions.

Hisoka sports a flamboyant costume of bright colors that will remind you of a jester, albeit a more sinister one. During his appearances in the Hunter Exam Arc, he wore a club-and-spades purple costume and has bluish hair. Afterwards, he was seen having brown hair and wearing a hearts-and-diamonds costume until the York Shin Arc. Donning such colorful apparel and makeup makes him look rather ridiculous at times but he is really a bishounen beneath it all.

His character is constantly lying about everything but it is yet unsure if his lies have a reason behind them or not. For a while, he was considered the primary antagonist but as the story progresses, he seemed to be alright with collaborating with the main characters on several occasions.

*The much-anticipated return of the Hunter x Hunter manga is quite a success as it garnered three awards from the recent Manga Awards 2011 hosted by Mangahelpers, winning in the Best Shounen and Best Manga of 2011 categories. Hisoka has been recognized as the Best Villain.

Updated HVAC plant boosts carbon initiative to reduce energy usage

Updated HVAC plant boosts carbon initiative to... por gabconcepsion

With responsibility for the service, maintenance and repair of the boiler plant in 88 BUPA care homes throughout London and the South East, heating and building services contractors Kestrel Mechanical has started an energy-saving programme to update their boiler rooms.

In designing the HVAC control system, Kestrel has chosenSchneider Electric’s TeSys U motor starter controllers for all the pumps and motors.

The scheme to update the HVAC plant is in line with Bupa’s carbon initiative designed to reduce energy usage under the carbon levy scheme, which encourages businesses to reduce emissions by adding an energy tax on energy bills.  The key requirement for the system is remote management, which will enable all of the HVAC installations to be monitored and controlled at Bupa’s central support office in Leeds.

Engineer Oliver Ringrose of Kestrel, who had not previously used the TeSys model U range, explains:  “We are using Honeywell Hawk controllers on a Modbus network to integrate the HVAC systems and were looking for a quick-fit solution capable of being connected onto a Modbus network for the motor controllers.  It was our Honeywell contact, who had experience of the TeSys U starters in an industrial automation application, who recommended them and they have delivered everything we were looking for.”

Use of the TeSys U connected to the HVAC system enables the state of the motor starters to be constantly monitored by indicating motor load and whether they are on, off or tripped.  It means that Bupa can ensure that the plant in each of its homes is operating to pre-determined parameters, identifying unnecessary usage or unauthorised changes to manual operation.  By being able to remotely monitor individual usage in this way, Bupa can more effectively manage its energy consumption on a site-by-site basis.

Oliver Ringrose has overall responsibility for designing and building the panels and for him TeSys U offers a number of advantages. He explains: “As the whole project is driven by Bupa’s requirement for energy conservation, it was important to ensure proper control and these are the only starters on the market that cannot be linked out, i.e. the thermal overload protection function cannot be disabled.  From the design point of view, they are very compact and their construction enables us to reduce the number of input/output devices.  Basically, we have less kit to fit into the panel and so can do a lot more in the same space.”

Speed of assembly and wiring is a key feature of the TeSys U starters.  They are fully integrated devices which combine switching, isolation and protection functions in a single compact unit.  Suitable for rapid mounting on DIN rail, they require power connections only to the supply and the motor, greatly reducing the amount of wiring needed compared with conventional starters.  The flexibility of the TeSys U range means that late design changes (such as a motor size change) can be accommodated by simply plugging-in a replacement module such as an overload.  With open connectivity TeSys U supports leading industry protocols including Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet and CANopen.

The remote monitoring capabilities of the installed systems also offer advantages to Kestrel Mechanical in their day-to-day operations maintaining the boiler rooms.

Oliver Ringrose says:  “Because we can monitor the state of the motor controls, if a problem does arrive we can carry out a lot of diagnostics before we go to site. That means we are sending the right people and can quickly rectify any fault.”

Solamon Energy Sets Focus on Spanish-Speaking Territories

http://www.widepr.com/press_release/23086/solamon_energy_sets_focus_on_spanish_speaking_territories.html

Solamon announces new executive appointments as company sets new focus.
(Toronto) – After completing an exhaustive executive search throughout the summer months, Solamon Energy’s CEO Graeme Boyce is proud to announce today the appointment of Nicolas Del Valle to a position on the senior team as Senior Vice President, and also the promotion of Christian Giles to SVP. “We are leaving the development of the Dominican Republic’s solar market in the very capable hands of Mr Del Valle,” says Boyce, “and, based on our discoveries since May, we’ve shifted Mr Giles to Institutions, where he will deliver non-manufacturing facilities, from airports and arenas to hospitals and universities.”

The pair are tasked to develop critical strategic business relationships. Effective immediately, both will report directly to Jay Yeo, president. Del Valle, originally from the Dominican Republic, will be concentrating his efforts in Santa Domingo in the short-term and will focus on the acquisition of land tracts to supply solar energy to the capital city and its surrounding regions. Next year, he will establish a field office and recruit needed support personnel, as required to expand.

Last year Del Valle, degreed in Finance and Investment from the American Business Institute, and who has previously studied Marketing Management at Penn Foster and most recently Logistics Management at Centennial in Toronto, co-founded and launched Transcending Borders, a philanthropic initiative. “However, given his decade in hospitality and as an established entreprenuer,” says Boyce, “Del Valle will quickly enjoy success in the coastal regions of Puerto Plata and Punta Cana, as well as the vast open lands and commercial operations to the south.”

Giles will continue to review and explore existing opportunities to design and install Apollo Acre™ (ground mount, rooftop and parking lot) systems across the non-Spanish-speaking countries of theCaribbean, in the wake of his recent fact-finding tour of the Antilles chain, including U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Sint Maarten.

“In addition to private organizations and corporations in the Caribbean making the leap to renewables,”Boyce explains, “governments and their representatives are now beginning to issues tenders, having concluded their own researches and investigations into the viability of large integrated systems. In our discussions, we caution all people about assessing the value in a properly integrated system over the long-term and not simply the cost of the cheapest panels on the market primarily coming out of China these days. So, to grow and succeed, our executives first need to establish a trusted relationship with government officials and business leaders to ensure that our proposition is clearly communicated.”

The company is excited not only to deliver turnkey power plants using renewable energy sources, such as sun and wind, to Caribbean countries, but to develop long-term relationships that are mutually beneficial. “Our executives are certainly looking for partners on each island to manage each Apollo Acre™ array,” Boyce adds, “but those willing to also establish a suitable post-implementation training program, or several, in collaboration with relevant government agencies that we have come across on each island, especially on the larger projects.”

Solamon provides a fully managed solution for each Apollo Acre™, a turnkey process from beginning to end including site inspections, project design and development, as well as addressing requisite environmental and local permitting, 3rd party engineering, procurement and construction, as well as system testing and eventual commissioning, security and maintenance.

Solamon typically offers a ground-mounted solar array of integrated photovoltaic cells over 5 acre packages of land, which is called the Apollo Acre™. The company now also designs and installs custom solutions with local partners to provide roof-mounted and parking lot systems that could be easily augmented by micro wind turbine technology. “Our systems can be tied into the grid, or not,” concludes Boyce. “We are flexible and with our developing relationship with BP Solar can bundle utility-sized energy deals in order to finance them efficiently.”

The misspellings contained are typically intentional in an attempt to evade spam filtering systems…. good luck with that.
The email continues:
Salamon Group Inc. (SLMU), a leading designer of next generation electronic products and systems, announced today that the commpany intends on filing a new patent designed to provide new power to Air Conditioning Units.
It also generically references other patents held by the firm, but fails to mention:
  • They don’t actually have any products being made
  • Nor do they have any sales or revenue
  • There are just two insiders with shares, the bulk of held by “John E Salamon”
  • Trading volume of this pink sheet is essentially non-existent.
The email does suggests that you
“Add SLMU to your tiicker first thing Tomorrow morning…”
We suggest that you don’t.
